Freedom Dinners help combat sex trafficking. Founder Kelly Welk was inspired to start Freedom Dinners after listening to a presentation on sex trafficking. By 2019, her grassroots community effort had earned over $3,500, with all the proceeds going to combat sex trafficking.
For the Home Girls and Home Boys, it was essential that we take up the cause and put our energy into helping Kelly with these annual dinners.
Here are a few highlights from this year’s lovely event.
The Home Girls are always happy to help! Our Networking Group @Kitsap’s Business List helped to sponsor one of the Freedom Dinners by the fabulous CiderPress Lane & Aaron & Kelly. Local businesses donate food and some from the Welk’s garden to unite people. If you want to make a difference to help end human trafficking, please support this great cause more on Kelly’s website
